Designed to conduct border patrols, territorial water defense and maritime operations up to the Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ), Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) Operations. The ship is also perfectly capable to carry out Surface Warfare, Anti Air Warfare and Maritime Security Operation (anti-piracy, anti-terrorism, anti-smuggling, anti-human trafficking and anti-drug operations), critical Infrastructure Protection at sea and fishery protection.
